synergies. Our founders bring a wealth of experience in these areas,
enabling us to identify and execute on opportunities that drive value creation and
help increase operational efficiencies.

Thun has over 20 years of experience in cross-border corporate services, accounting and tax compliance services, payroll/HR support services, M&A, corporate advisory, and consultancy services for corporates, funds, and family offices.
His career spans from being an entrepreneur to a professional manager and country leadership roles in international corporate services firms. He joined a global top 2 firm as Managing Director of their Shanghai office through the sale of his firm in 2011 and subsequently left to join the industry’s largest corporate services firm as Market Head of China & Taiwan in 2016 where he was responsible for teams of professionals located in 8 offices, across multiple service disciplines. Over the years, Thun has successfully assisted many foreign MNCs with their expansion needs across many key Asian markets and also supported Chinese MNCs and business owners in their international investment activities across multiple markets and various regions.
An experienced corporate services professional with strong commercial acumen and big-picture thinking. Thun believes in continuous improvement and driving changes. Working well with multi-cultural teams across different disciplines and geographical locations, Thun is extremely passionate in growth and commercial initiatives and has led high performing sales and business development teams during his career.
With his years of experience in the corporate services industry, both as entrepreneur and professional manager, Thun co-founded Grit Venture Partners to put what he knows best in the professional services industry to good use – helping many Asian professional practitioners turned entrepreneurs, and the teams they lead to scale up whilst being strong growth and expansion facilitators to their clients.
Thun is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and other Chinese dialects, and holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Banking & Finance from the University of London.
Pierre is a seasoned professional with almost 30 years experience in professional services and finance. His expertise spans from finance strategy, mergers & acquisitions, accounting, tax, HR, and cross-border advisory for both foreign and local companies in China.
He started his professional career with Mackenzie Financial in Toronto, Canada, before relocating to China in 2004 as a Senior Manager, Assurance Services in the KPMG Shanghai. He then moved to global real estate firm CBRE China as Finance Director and subsequently took up a Director role in KCS China, the corporate services arm of KPMG.
His entrepreneurship journey officially kicked off in 2012 when he left KCS China to establish Integra Group. Pierre has since led Integra Group from strength to strength as Founder & Group CEO over the years, together with his team supporting both international and Chinese clients with their operations in the region.
Pierre co-founded Grit Venture Partners seeing the opportunity for a larger cross-border corporate services platform in the Asia Pacific region with a vision to building a truly Asian grown, partner managed professional services firm.
His educational background includes an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Chartered Accountancy from the University of Waterloo. Pierre is a member of the Canadian Chartered Accountant and a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).
Mark is the founder and managing partner of the Hong Kong office for a leading international law firm, where he is also a member of the firm’s global board.
With over 20 years of legal experience, Mark focuses on corporate and corporate finance matters, where he actively advises his private and publicly listed clients through all stages of their business life cycle (i.e., venture capital or private equity investments, expansion and restructuring through private and public M&As, fund raising through IPOs, secondary listings or equity or debt financing as well as public takeovers). Many of his clients are based in Asia, with local, regional and international business and operations and regularly engage him to assist with cross-border transactions.
Mark started his legal career at some of the top law firms in Singapore. He subsequently joined leading UK and US-headquartered international law firms in Hong Kong, before embracing his entrepreneurial spirit to set up a new office from scratch almost a decade ago. Since then, Mark has built an award-winning legal practice which has a diverse portfolio of clients and matters. Today, he is increasingly involved in “deal making” by matchmaking and building relationships among his network of clients, investors and business partners.
As the Senior Legal Advisor to Grit Venture Partners, Mark is a strong “business partner” that brings to the team sound legal advice with a commercial mindset. Bringing along his wealth of experience in mergers & acquisitions and capital markets expertise, he sees this as a truly exciting opportunity to build an Asia-wide professional services platform together with the team.
Mark speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and is licensed to practice law in Hong Kong, England and Wales and Singapore. He holds an LLB from the National University of Singapore.
